Our three-year Luzer is a flood victim from the recent floods earlier this year 2010. The poor guy lived on the property tied up near the Guadalquivir River as the water came.
An animal-friendly fireman took pity and let him Luzer band, then bring him to the river.
On shore he was taken over by the police, but did nothing else than Luzer who had narrowly escaped death, to bring into the killing center of Andujar. The owner called it back from Luzer, then said simply: ". My land is flooded and I have no use for the dog, then just kill him"
Alberto learned of the sad fate and he knew the owner, who is a brutal man and had often beaten Luzer.
So he decided to save the poor dog's soul and brought him out of the Perrera.
Luzer now lives at the refuge, along with other dogs, what ever is not a problem. He is very social and romps around with the other.
In humans, it is at first reluctant, but thaws quickly and is pleased with pats.
Luzer has chipped a shoulder height of 57 cm and is neutered, vaccinated and tested for Mediterranean diseases submitted.
