Elinda had very, very lucky that she was found in time by the animal rights activists in Jaca. And in the ditch: There Elinda staggered around injured and apparently disoriented. We also found easy to see why: She had a hole in the side - we suspect that she was attacked by a wild boar. Moreover Elinda breathed very hard, so we brought them to the vet immediately. Diagnosis: pneumothorax. The accident had forced air into the chest cavity, so Elinda had to be operated on immediately. Even the torn muscle tissue was sutured and the wound cleaned and sutured.
Elinda bravely endured all the treatments and patient. Although she must have suffered excruciating pain, she has never shown aggressive and never tried to fight back.
She is now recovering in a Spanish foster home, where there are more dogs and a cat. At the moment leaves Elinda the sofa only to be out there doing their business. She is still greatly weakened and must come first to his feet.People over Elinda is friendly and trusting, just outside their cars and many people do not fear.
