Benito, the big brother of Mia and Mika, is about five months old (August 2011), currently around 44 cm tall and 9 kg in weight, fully grown, he will probably reach a shoulder height of about 50 to 55 cm.
Benito might be a Gos d'Atura hybrid. This Spanish Houses Dog are not just clever and loving, but also incredibly clever!
It was found in the same place where a few days before the dead sibling was discovered. Julieta says that he probably already there, staring back to his own death. But thank God it was the luck hold? The Adpca staff quickly brought him to the veterinary hospital, where he spend a few weeks and had to be cared for and extended period of time was not clear whether he would survive. But he will right itself and shows that he is in fact a true survivor! In character it Julieta describes simply as "obersüß". When he regained his strength, it was obviously a need for him to have the people who saved him thankful to prove, what he brought to expression by licking them again and again. The guy has an absolutely gorgeous flawless character;he shows himself obedient, friendly, devoted and trusting. Currently divides the shrewd guy his kennel with his siblings, Mia and Mika.
From the past to its smaller sister, Mia, we know that she has been exposed as a very small puppy in the vicinity of the shelter in a crate. The staff of the home and rescued the little girl took her under her wing. A few days later they found out that Mia was probably not have been alone, but was suspended along with five other siblings, was made after which the animal rights activists in the immediate vicinity in search of the other puppies children. A few days later she had the luck and success they found Mika in a place very close to a road.
However, once lacked any trace of the other kids, the volunteers came up with the idea to look into the irrigation ditches of the area, where they eventually found a dead puppy child. Other days later, they discovered - as already described above - the poor little Benito. The other two siblings were unfortunately - are not found ... - despite extensive searching
This is the sad history of Mika, Mia and Benito, all three would like to finally leave behind. We hope and wish the three sweet that they can be taught, and soon all three to stay with families, where it awaits a happy future and they may find ample pats, attention and security.
