This lovely Galgomischling with the true-hearted look Canijo means: he is about 6 months old (November 2011) and currently reaches a shoulder height of 50 cm. He will grow a bit in size certainly, we estimate full grown he is somewhere between 55 - 60 cm reach.
Canijo suffered the same fate as many dogs in Spain: Alberto found him in a dumpster near his shelter. The sweet guy was totally starved and offered a picture of misery, he was terribly thin - just skin and bones. Alberto approached him slowly and carefully and the little boy did not even try to run away. Apparently the powers failed him, he was simply too weak to flee.
Alberto's in charge of the shelter he once took several minutes to water and swallowed up the portions of at least 3 dogs. It was about "Train" for the poor thing was, he would certainly have barely a day or two longer maintained without food and water.
Canijo is not only outwardly a great and very handsome boy!He is a good-natured, bright and curious young male who gets along well with his dog buddies.
