The 8 year old Pirata is 52 cm tall to the shoulder. The mix of shepherd dog sadly suffers from arthrosis and would need medication. Good medicin can be bought nowadays, but will be an extra cost for the owner. Pirata hast been living for the past 2 years at the shelter in Segovia. Her previous owner was a brutal man who hit her and later on left her at the perrera in Badajoz. There she was picked up by animal rights activists from Segovia. The friedly dog, which never made any trouble, now looks for a warm home to rest and a family to love. He hasn't any problems with dogs, a cat test hasn't been made until now, but could be taken if needed.
The brave boy was leishmaniasis positiv - the results of the last test were "doubtful" though. Pirata isn't neutered yet, but this could be undertaken before transportation to his new home. As he's already chipped and vaccinated, he could travel to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holand or Luxenbourg right away.
Who could have a place for such a friendly dog in his heart?
